2008 Analogue-Numerical model comparisons

We aim to compare results of analogue and numerical models for three experiments in order to constrain and quantify the variability among analogue and numerical models and improve our understanding of causes of differences between analogue and numerical models.

The new description (of December 2008) of the setup and modelling procedure for the experiments can be downloaded here.

Please use the templates for the quantification and reporting of the experiments:

Please follow the instructions exactly and contact us before making any changes in the setup.

GeoMod2008 pre-conference modelling workshop

First results of the comparison experiments were discussed at the GeoMod2008 pre-conference modelling workshop of Sunday 21 September 2008. More information on the GeoMod2008 meeting can be found at http://www.geomod2008.org/index.shtml

A summary of the workshop programme and the general discussion can be downloaded here
